Tasting Notes & Pairings:

Our Côtes du Rhône wine has a deep ruby color; the nose exhales beautiful notes of ripe red berries, overhung with a spicy touch. The power and the roundness in the mouth are striking, and the tannins are pronounced but not aggressive. This wine tastes great, even in its youth.

Best paired with grilled lamb, red meat and an assortment of cheeses.

Terroir:

The Rhône Valley was originally a collapsed pit due to a clash between the Massif Central and the Alps and was filled by the Mediterranean. 300 million years ago, volcanic activity produced the granitic rock in the north; to the south, river and sea deposits were notably limestone. Later, drops in the sea level caused the riverbed to widen, creating river terraces on the side of the valley which offers a wonderful terroir and climate for winemaking.

Our soils consist of four types of rock: granite, sandy silica, limestone and clay. This source rock plays an essential role in regulating the water supply of our vines, giving aroma and taste to our Côtes du Rhône wine.
